Cobalt Digital Receives Smart Video Group Award for Superior Technology and Signs Partnership with Smart Video Group at IBC 2022 – Sports Video Group

Cobalt Digital, Inc. has received a Superior Technology Award from Smart Video Group GmbH, expert providers of technology, solutions and support for smart workflows. The award was presented to Cobalt at IBC2022, at Cobalt’s Stand 10.B44 in the RAI. Suzana Brady, SVP of worldwide sales and marketing, accepted on behalf of Cobalt and announced that the two companies have also signed a partnership agreement aimed at bringing enhanced service and support to Central European countries.

The Group’s extensive technical knowledge about video processing, transport and monitoring applications coupled with their deep understanding of the European broadcasting community will be an enormous benefit for our current customers in the region and help expand our presence by educating the market about our solutions. Smart Video Group will serve as Cobalt’s European distributor in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as other countries on request, effective immediately.
Cobalt also announced that at IBC it is showing its Indigo 2110-DC-01 SMPTE ST 2110 solution on its 9904-UDX-4K card, a new option that offers support for high density native 4K ST 2110 audio and video processing on openGear® form factor. Other show highlights include a new version of the Company’s SafeLink Gateway as a virtual machine, and a higher density solution of +MPx-DANTE-64×64, the industry’s first license-based quad-channel 3G-SDI bridge to Dante® audio.
