Member Update: High-Performance Review – Lancashire Cricket Club

Member Update: High-Performance Review
Lancashire Cricket would like to update its Members on the ECB’s High-Performance Review (HPR).
The ECB have informed all First-Class Counties that they will be delaying the communication of the HPR proposals until after Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Funeral has taken place.
Lancashire Cricket supports that decision as we observe the period of National Mourning, following the passing of the Club’s Patron.
With Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Funeral taking place next Monday 19 September, the Club will postpone the planned Members’ Forum, originally scheduled for that day.
We will inform Members as soon as possible regarding a new date for the Members’ Forum, providing as much notice as reasonably possible. It is worth noting that we do not anticipate receiving any proposals from the ECB until mid-next week in any event.
The ECB have also confirmed that the Chairs’ meeting and vote, previously scheduled for Tuesday 20 September, has been postponed.
The Club will keep Members updated on further relevant information from the ECB regarding the HPR. We remain committed to ensuring that, ahead of any County Chairs’ vote taking place on changes to the domestic schedule, we will honour our commitment to Members that they will be able to vote on the proposals.
We appreciate there has been a lot of communication on this subject in the past month, but we would like once again to thank our Members for their continued and unwavering support of the Club.
