Survey: Has Marshall Loss Lessened Your Confidence in Notre Dame Football? – One Foot Down

SB Nation Reacts is back, but wishing we were asking happier questions.
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NCAA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Notre Dame Fighting Irish fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate.
This week, we herald the return of the Reacts segment by asking some tough questions in light of Notre Dame’s puzzling 26-21 loss to Marshall. We value your feedback and we will publish the results of this survey on Thursday so you can see if your perspective matches that of other One Foot Down readers.
The first question will remain the same each week as we try to gauge how wins and losses affect your overall confidence in the Notre Dame football program. This can include everything, from your confidence in the coaching staff to the recruiting to the athletic director and the investments in the future.
The second question is to reset expectations. While those of us here may have had visions of a 10-2 season (or better!) pre-season, the injury to starting quarterback Tyler Buchner and the 0-2 start is forcing us to reassess.
The fourth question is perhaps the most interesting. While the loudest critiques post-Saturday were reserved for Tommy Rees, Al Golden and Harry Hiestand’s coaching were called into question several times after podcasters got to re-watch the game.
Finally, we you to predict the future — not just this week’s Cal game, but also how a loss to Marshall is perceived by our 2023 class (and beyond).
