Somebody who purchased a Mega Millions ticket at an Ames general store won a $1 million award in Tuesday's drawing.
The triumphant ticket in Tuesday's drawing was bought at Door Expresse, 2400 College Blvd. in Ames.
The ticket came surprisingly close to having essentially a portion of the $191 million bonanza.
The ticket matched the initial five numbers however missed the Super Ball to win a $1 million award.
Tuesday's triumphant numbers were 6-17-46-59-68 and Mega Ball 2. The Megaplier number was 4.
It is the third Uber Millions prize of something like $1 million won in Iowa in a little more than a month.
