USA TODAY extends the Lions to complete in second spot in NFC North
Summer is much of the time the time of NFL record expectations for the impending season.
A couple of those 2022 projections have the Detroit Lions pleasantly enhancing the 3-13-1 record from a year prior.
One of the people who predicts much far superior things for Detroit is Nate Davis of USA TODAY (membership required).
His authority expectation is for the Lions to rocket up to eight wins and finish in runner up in the NFC North division.
The Minnesota Vikings are likewise projected to complete 8-9, well behind the Green Bay Packers at the highest point of the division.
The Chicago Bears are at the lowest possible quality at 4-13.
It's a ruddy picture painted for Detroit and it's put together as much with respect to how all around instructed the group is under Dan Campbell than it is the actual players.
That could make sense of why Campbell is a wagering dear on the NFL Coach of the Year front.
