One individual was killed and two harmed after a lady started shooting in the Midtown area of Atlanta Monday evening, provoking a pursuit that prompted her capture, police said Around 2:15 p.m.

The Atlanta Police Department encouraged individuals to keep away from the roads in the Midtown region while officials explored. At around 4:15 p.m.
The division said they have a suspect in guardianship. Video film posted internet based soon after the shooting clearly showed
police going to the Colony Square structure, which houses workplaces, cafés, and shops.
A video showed officials requesting bearings to the fourth floor.
In one video, one individual says they are "secured" at the close by STK Steakhouse as an official starts obstructing traffic.
On Monday evening, individuals were briefly not permitted to leave or enter Midtown High School, about a mile from Colony Square.
"Additional Atlanta Public Schools cops were dispatched to Midtown to help with the release cycle,
which was continuing to no one's surprise," Atlanta Public Schools representative Seth Coleman said in an email.
